Yoga and Wellness has been my passion the entirety of my adulthood. I was first introduced to Yoga in 2000, and beginning practicing regularly in community in 2005. I loved the way it made me feel- although I couldn’t quite put a finger on why. It was an excellent complement to the more demanding workouts I also enjoyed. I began teaching Group Fitness classes in 2010, and taught Spin, HIIT, Zumba, and Barbell as well as Yoga, although I was not a registered yoga teacher at this point.

In 2020, I had my daughter the exact day that Dallas shut down for the pandemic. I became a new mom, was largely isolated due to the pandemic, and dealing with postpartum anxiety, and eventually depression. I didn’t look or feel like myself.

In 2021, I began practicing with a couple of amazing teachers, and it helped me come back to me. My teachers introduced Pranayama (breath) and mindfulness into the practice. This gave me the tools to navigate my anxiety and depression. I began to learn more challenging poses, which gave me much-needed confidence and trust in myself, both on and off the mat.

After being a stay at home mom for a couple of years, I decided to do my yoga teacher training at Dallas Yoga Center, then my Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Training through Aura Wellness. I began my Pranayama practice during Yoga Teacher Training, then was introduced to Conscious Connected Breath in Spring of 2023 and began my training to become a Breathwork Facilitator in the Fall of 2023. I am also a Reiki Healer, Sound Healer, and a practitioner of Thai Vedic Massage.

My purpose is to help others using the tools of Asana (the physical practice of Yoga), Pranayama (breath), and Meditation. I embrace the fact that Yoga  is for everybody and every body, so I aim to provide an inclusive environment.

My goal is to help you embody your highest self - physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. My hope for you is that you leave feeling empowered and confident and take this feeling off the mat with you into “real life”. Keeping this in mind, each session is tailored to meet your individual needs and goals.
